Taqsim Driver est le nouveau projet de la Fanfare Couche-Tard. Curieux et inspirés de musiques du monde entier (dabké
libanais, tallava albanais ou mugham azérie par exemple), Taqsim Driver cherche à faire résonner des samples d’instruments traditionnels
variés (derbuka, le kerkabou, saz…) avec les musiques actuelles (dance, trap, rap…) pour nourrir un dialogue musical riche entre
tradition et modernité.
De continent en continent, le groupe invite au voyage et à la découverte dans une transe énergique et joyeuse.

Taqsim Driver is the new project from the Fanfare Couche-Tard band. Curious about and inspired by music from all over the
world (Lebanese dabké, Albanian tallava or Azeri mugham, for example), Taqsim Driver seeks to resonate samples of various traditional
instruments (derbuka, kerkabou, saz...) with contemporary music (dance, trap, rap...) to foster a rich musical dialogue between
tradition and modernity.
From continent to continent, the group invites you to travel and discover in an energetic, joyful trance.
Créé par les musiciens de Fanfare Couche-Tard qui ont tourné pendant 15 ans en Europe, Inde, Maroc et Afrique du Sud, Taqsim Driver sort ses premiers clips et singles en 2023 et entame une tournée passant par le Canada et l’Europe au printemps 2024.

Taqsim Driver released their first videos and singles in 2023 and embark on a tour of Canada and Europe in the spring of 2024.
