LIVING LANGUAGES

The Alliance Française Vancouver invites you to particpate to the Night Of Ideas 2020 whose theme will be "to be alive". On Jan.  30th,  join us for a special evening dedicated to languages ​​and oral cultures. Around speakers from various backgrounds, we will discuss the great linguistic diversity of our province, the projects to safeguard this gift, to develop pluriniguism and to keep this incredible diversity alive!

	Speaker: Gerry LAWSON Oral History and Language Lab Manager at UBC
	Speaker: David PAJOT David Pajot is a doctoral candidate in Education at Simon Fraser University. His research focuses on revitalization of minority languages, such as Breton. His other areas of expertise include language policies, French as a second or additional language; language acquisition; Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Pour la Nuit des Idées 2020 dont le thème sera "être vivant", l’Alliance Française de Vancouver organise une soirée spéciale dédiée aux langues et cultures orales. Autour d'intervenants de tous horizons, nous évoquerons la grande diversité linguistique de notre province, les projets pour sauvegarder cette richesse, pour développer le plurinliguisme et le faire vivre au quotidien.
