The Desert Rocker is an intimate, witty and profound portrait of of the extraordinary Hasna El Becharia. A pioneer of female Gnawa artists
and an illiterate artist in her sixties with a singular talent, she leads Algerian women of all ages to redefine their roles and challenge
cultural norms, one musical performance at a time.
