Claudia Bilodeau

I have a BA in French Literature with a minor in Stylistics and Translation from McGill University. I have lived in Ottawa since 2008. I became familiar with the SLE program of the Canada School of Public Service in 2014. My teaching philosophy is on the development of study habits. I find that learners forget essential details because they have not learned to review the documents needed to consolidate their new language skills.
Also, I like when students understand a concept that has been a challenge. Their self-confidence increases. This sense of accomplishment is very rewarding. 
I like to spend time outdoors hiking, swimming and biking. Winter in the East of our beautiful and great country is really not my favorite season!
