If you have taken French classes before or have some level of French, it can sometimes be
tricky to find books that are adequate for your level of French, especially for children and teenagers. Usually, French levels are
categorized under Common European Framework of Reference, if you have no idea what level you are, you can follow the guidelines in our level
chart or
even take a placement test.
In this article, we will be sharing some books recommended for children and teens who have an advanced level of French, commonly known as
French level B2. Some of these books can be suitable for children following French immersion programs in British Columbia. We will go
through a list of books by age group, and that are also available in our French media library.

This book is adapted to children aged 7 to 10 years old, talks about five children who uncover a mysterious
conspiracy in an adventurous story that speaks about emotions and friendship.

For high schoolers that like classic detective novels, this book contains two books: The first book, "Double assasinat dans la rue Morgue", is the story of a mother and daughter who are brutally murdered in a room with a locked exit, it seems that the murderer has no way to escape, but the police have never been able to find the murderer.
