Anchored in a tech-oriented territory, Alliance Française Vancouver aims to build a programming highlighting digital Arts and new media. Taking the next step after the success of its Art & XR exhibition (Recto VRso and V-Unframed), AFV launched its own virtual reality platform. A unique tool to explore creative content and digital arts.

Espace V  is Alliance Française Vancouver Virtual World created as the go-to immersive space to connect, consume and engage with Francophone and international cultures presented in digital media forms. Its is launched as Alliance Française historical building at 6161 Cambie street is being demolished. Espace V wants to take up the technical challenges of digital technology and experiment with new forms of presentation and cultural mediation.

Explore the iconic space inspired by the future building of Alliance Française composed of 3 main spaces: The Lobby, the Auditorium and the Gallery.

Experience curated, traditional 2D films, rotating 2D art and photography, digital sculptures and 6dof VR artworks by simply wearing virtual headsets found in the space.

Interact with other visitors and creators and share your love for francophone art and cultures.

Once you added the experience to your account, it will appear in your headset.
Go into your quest and click install on the Espace V experience.
