Venez déployer votre créativité et discuter en français tout en profitant d'un verre de vin ! Chaque mois, nous vous réservons la Galerie d'Art de l'AFV pour une pose créative et inspirante, et conviale.

En Octobre, l'AFV vous propose une plongée dans l'histoire de l'art avec un ART & SIP inspiré par l'oeuvre de Louise Bourgeois (1911-2010). Sculptrice et plasticienne francophone, Louise Bourgeois est surtout connue pour ses impressionnantes sculptures d’araignées géantes. Rejoignez-nous pour en apprendre davantage sur sa démarche artistique et vous laisser inspirer pour votre propre composition artistique.Quelque soit votre niveau en dessin, cet atelier est fait pour vous ! Les matériaux mis à disposition incluent des crayons de bois et crayons de couleur. Le materiel est inclus, mais vous pouvez ramener vos propres crayons et carnets si vous le souhaitez. Pour limiter les risques d'alergie, aucune peinture ne sera utilisée pendant l'atelier.

This October, we invite you to dive into art history with an ART & SIP inspired by the work of Louise Bourgeois (1911–2010), a French-speaking sculptor and visual artist. Louise Bourgeois is best known for her impressive giant spider sculptures. Join us to learn more about her artistic practice and let her work inspire your own artistic creation.No matter your drawing skill level, this workshop is for you! Materials provided include graphite and colored pencils. While all materials are included, feel free to bring your own sketchbook or pencils if you prefer. To reduce the risk of allergies, no paint will be used during the workshop.

En octobre, c’est l’artiste plasticienne et sculptrice Louise Bourgeois (1911–2010) qui est mise à l’honneur.

Connue pour ses impressionnantes sculptures d’araignées géantes, vous aurez l’occasion d’en apprendre davantage sur sa démarche artistique tout en laissant libre cours à votre propre créativité. Originaire du Nord de la France, Louise a réalisé ses études à Paris avant de s'installer à Vancouver il y a deux ans. Avec un double diplôme en Politiques culturelles et en Lettres & Arts, elle a rejoint l’équipe culture de l’Alliance Française Vancouver en juillet 2023, où elle assure désormais la coordination des studios d’artistes et assiste à la programmation culturelle. Portée par une approche pluridisciplinaire et inclusive, Louise vous invite a (re)découvrir l'histoire de l'art autrement .

Originally from northern France, Louise studied in Paris before moving to Vancouver two years ago. With a double degree in Cultural Policy and Literature & Arts, she joined the cultural team at Alliance Française Vancouver in July 2023, where she now coordinates the artist studios and assist with the cultural programming. Driven by a multidisciplinary and inclusive approach, Louise invite you to (re)discover art history from another perspective.
