TCF-Canada

The TCF-Canada (Test de Connaissance du Français) is a French language proficiency test that meets the standards of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). TCF-Canada results are accepted for the purposes of economic immigration or for obtaining Canadian citizenship.

The TCF-Canada consists of four mandatory parts. It evaluates general French language proficiency in listening comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking and writing.

TCF Exam Priority Access: Skip the Line!

By registering for a TCF workshop, you may have the opportunity to reserve a spot for an upcoming TCF exam organized by Alliance Française Vancouver.

How it works:

Participants in this workshop receive priority access to selected TCF exam spots: you skip the line!
Exam dates are assigned by Alliance Française and cannot be chosen by candidates.
The exam will take place after the end of the workshop (exact date disclosed in the workshop description).
If a spot is reserved for you, you will have one week to confirm your participation and complete the exam payment. Not transferrable.
Reserved spots that are not confirmed and paid within the deadline will be released to other candidates.

Important:
Admission to the workshop is subject to prerequisites. Candidates who do not meet the required level or prerequisites will not be able to participate in the workshop or benefit from the priority access to TCF exam spots.

All exam purchases must be made online. In-person and telephone requests cannot be accommodated.

Location

All exams will take place in-person, 6161 Cambie Street, Vancouver, BC.

Results will be sent via e-mail within 3 to 4 weeks after the examination date.
The candidates will be notified of the exact time of the TCF exam on their notification letter one week prior to the exam. All candidates must read and agree to the registration policies at the bottom of the TCF FORM. Prices are subject to change without notice. Our members have a 10% discount on TCF tests. Prior registration, please make sure that you need the TCF for your application as registrations to the TCF are final. Aside from the oral expression test, all tests are completed on computers using a QWERTY keyboard. French accents will be accessible through the plateform designed by FEI. Registration to the TCF is final. Neither refund nor credit will be granted.
