Espace V is Alliance Française Vancouver Virtual World created as the go-to immersive space to connect, consume and engage with Francophone and international cultures presented in digital media forms. Espace V wants to take up the technical challenges of digital technology and experiment with new forms of presentation and cultural mediation.
V-Unframed is an immersive digital art exhibition that showcases artworks from local and international artists, accessible in-person at our event or online through Oculus Applab.
« Machines à Bulles » is an interactive exhibition to explore innovative French digital comics. All the artworks are interactive but viewed differently: Artworks you can tap or scroll through video games or virtual reality artworks.
As part of its strategy to support the creative industries, the Embassy of France in Canada, in partnership with the Alliance Française de
Vancouver, Art of Festivals, and the Centre For Digital Media (Vancouver), developed a digital simulation game(“serious game”). In this
simulation, you can explore the skills and strategies needed to create and manage future artistic production and presentation
venues.
This project is based on a pilot phase (2021), built as an awareness game to understand the environment and organizational challenges of a
