Inspired by Vancouver’s flourishing music scene, Grade School is a 70's influenced slacker rock band from North Vancouver, BC, Canada. Their music draws influence from artists such as Paul McCartney, Twin Peaks, The Rolling Stones and MJ Lenderman. After forming in 2021, Grade School released their debut album, “How To Make Wooden Planes,”, which was met with a sold out album release show at Vancouver's Green Auto in 2023. The next year following up their debut album, Grade School independently released their third EP, “Be Cool, Grade School!” which was supported by a seven-date West Coast Canada “SUPER MEGA AWESOME TOUR.” “Venables,” was released in December 2024. After a much needed break in 2025 they have a new album scheduled to release summer 2026
