Interactive French-language arts and cultural workshops offered at our cultural centre or at your school.

Early Years: Kindergarten - Grade 2


Little Fench Explorers

Students discover the Francophone world through interactive music, traditions, art and cultural activities. They explore diversity, practice French vocabulary, and connect to history and social studies, while supporting language learning and cultural understanding

Mime & Words


Students explore the differences between theatre and mime, practicing stage expression, careful observation, and imaginative performance. This activity builds communication, collaboration, and creative thinking skills, in line with Arts Education learning goals.

French Market & Café Adventure

Students role-play as vendors and customers in a French market and Belgian café, practicing polite conversations, numbers, and social interactions in French. Our team guides the activity, and small snacks preparation are included! This will develop teamwork, and real-life language skills.

Film


Students watch a movie (english subtitle available) and participate in a guided discussion and activities after the movie. This experience develops listening, comprehension, critical thinking, and cultural awareness, while reinforcing Core French and Immersion learning outcomes.

The Little Prince Adventure

Students read and draw The Little Prince, then bring their drawings to life using digital tools. This workshop strengthens vocabulary, creativity, and storytelling skills, while supporting French language learning and arts education.

Comic Book

Students explore the history of comic books, learn vocabulary specific to the medium, and create their own comic about a snail’s adventures in B.C., while developing storytelling and narrative skills.

Students join a hands-on cooking or baking workshop featuring a Francophone recipe. A professional chef demonstrates the recipe, students prepare it, and then taste their creations, building independence and teamwork skills.

Art Exhibition 

Students explore a current art exhibition through a guided tour, with explanations and discussions designed to understand the works, develop cultural knowledge, and stimulate their creativity.

French History & Slang

Students dive into the fascinating bios of French figures—from Napoleon Bonaparte to Omar Sy—who shaped French culture. They also have games and explore French slang, learning how language evolve.

Students dive into the vibrant world of street art and pop culture! Students explore iconic murals, graffiti, and visual trends from Francophone countries, then create their own art inspired by French slogans, slang, and contemporary themes.

Experience the unforgettable shows in our theater!

MARCH 4 - MAGIC SHOW

Join Ben, a French magician from a small Inuit community who speaks English, French, and Inuit. Seen on Canada’s Got Talent and France’s Got Talent, Ben shares his inspiring journey through storytelling, humor, and breathtaking magic. Students will discover northern cultures, be inspired, and marvel at illusions blending art, language, and wonder.
Focus: arts education (drama & performance), communication
Grades: 4–12 (2 different shows)

MAY & JUNE - THE WORLD CUP: When football brings countries together

Gateway to explore global cultures and the French-speaking world. Through teamwork, creative activities, and oral presentations, students discover how sport, language, and culture connect countries around the world.
Focus: Culture, language learning, social studies, geography, oral communication, creativity, teamwork
Grades: Kindergarten – 12
