Also known as Asterix and Obelix in some adaptations or The Adventures of Asterix is a
French comic
album serie about a Gallic village which, thanks to a magic potion that enhances
strength, resists the
forces of Julius Caesar's Roman Empire Army in the time after the Gallic Wars.
Many adventures take
the titular hero Asterix and his friend Obelix to
Rome and beyond.
Author and cartoonist: Hergé
With 270 million copies sold in 2019, Les Aventures de Tintin are among the most famous and
popular European comic books of the 20th century. The hero of the series is Tintin, a young Belgian
reporter and globetrotter; he is accompanied on his adventures by his faithful fox terrier, Milou.
Throughout the albums, several recurring characters appear, such as the bumbling detectives
Dupond and Dupont, Captain Haddock, who soon becomes a main character, and Professor Tournesol.

The series takes place in the Americain Old West of the United States.
It stars the titular Lucky Luke,
a street-smart gunslinger known as the "man who shoots faster than his shadow", and his intelligent
horse Jolly Jumper. Lucky Luke is pitted against various villains, either fictional
or inspired by American
history or folklore. The most famous of these are the Dalton Brothers,
loosely based on the Dalton Gang
of the early 1890s and claimed to be their cousins. The stories are filled with humorous elements
parodying the Western genre.

This series humorously depicts the daily lives of two sisters. Wendy (the older one) can be quite
moody. Together with her boyfriend Maxence, she’s looking out for her little sister Marine.
And Marine (the younger one), is a clingy and slightly too nosy girl who won't leave Wendy and
her boyfriend alone and who's always trying to copy her older sister. Both of them are inspired
by the cartoonist William’s two daughters of the same names.

Mortelle Adèle follows the daily life of a little girl named Adèle with a strong personality,
who casts a cynical and unapologetic gaze on the world around her. There is something of
Mafalda and Wednesday Addams in
her.
Author and cartoonist: Patrick Sobral
This series follows the adventures of a group of heroes from diverse backgrounds in a medieval fantasy world, following a magical catastrophe, which they caused, that turned the entire population back into children. The artwork adopts manga-style conventions for the period depicted, while the adult characters, who appear in flashbacks, are drawn in a more realistic style.
