Pierre Beugnot

Pierre joined the board in 2019.

Originally from Lorraine, France, Pierre has called Vancouver home since 2012 and been involved with several local organizations. In particular, his specialized knowledge in computer science provides a much needed support to AFV in ensuring it is fully prepared to deal with today’s fast changing digital world. 

Pierre is currently working in Research and Development in his role as Product leader, Software as a Service (SaaS) at Axiom Xen, an innovation studio focused on emerging technologies.

In his free time, Pierre like to volunteer and participate in sports activities. From 2017 to 2019, he chaired the Technical Committee of PeaceGeeks, a non-profit organization that builds digital tools to empower communities in the pursuit of peace. He was also the High-Performance Fleet Captain of the Sailing Club at the University of British Columbia from 2017 to 2020.

Pierre has double degrees in Business and in Computer Science from Institut Universitaire de Technologie Nancy-Charlemagne and IUT2 Grenoble.
