Imelda réside à Gentilly avec son chien pipo. Le grand plaisir de cette nonagénaire est de contrôler son entourage et particulièrement celui de sa famille. Ses fils notaires Jean et André habitent près de chez elle et ils font souvent les frais de cette femme qui n'a pas la langue dans sa poche. Sinon elle porte son dévolu sur Simone, son souffre-douleur depuis plusieurs décennies. Sachant que personne n'est éternel, Imelda repense au passé et surtout au grand amour de sa jeunesse, tentant de régler ce qui lui tient à coeur avant de passer de vie à trépas.

Imelda lives in Gentilly with her dog Pipo. The great pleasure of this nonagenarian is to control her surroundings and particularly those of her family. Her notary sons, Jean and André, live near her home and they are often at the expense of this woman who has no tongue in her pocket. Otherwise she sets her sights on Simone, her whipping boy for several decades. Knowing that no one is eternal, Imelda thinks back to the past and especially to the great love of her youth, trying to settle what is dear to her heart before passing from life to death.
