Sylvain Munier

I am originally from the French-speaking part of Switzerland, where I spent several years working as a French teacher in public schools. After that, I travelled across Canada from coast to coast and decided to make Vancouver my home when I saw how ocean beaches and snowy mountains coexist so closely.
In my teaching, I view language learning as far more than the acquisition of vocabulary and grammar. I think that each new language opens a doorway into a different culture, perspective, and way of seeing the world. My approach is built on the belief that developing these skills helps us better understand the world we share.
