To celebrate its 115th year anniversary, the Alliance Française Vancouver , along with its partners, invites Vancouver into a unique, artistic and immersive journey. A digital arts and virtual reality exhibiton featuring 11 artworks and artists selected by RectoVRso by Laval Virtual, an international exhibition created in France.
XR technologies open a field of new possibilities for artists, new worlds to explore and new means to create unprecedented interaction with the audience. This exhibition questions  the progress of these technologiesat the threshold between artistic and scientific fields.

Pour fêter ses 115 ans, l’Alliance Française de Vancouver, avec ses partenaires, vous  invite  à vivre  un voyage artistique étonnant. Une exposition d'arts numériques et de réalité virtuelle comprenant 11 œuvres et regroupant des artistes sélectionnés par RectoVRso de Laval Virtual, une exposition internationale créée en France en 2018.
Les technologies de réalité virtuelle et augmentées ouvrent de nouveaux champs des  possibles pour les artistes. Cette exposition interroge les progrès des technologies immersives aux frontières artistiques et scientifiques.

 Artist-researcher in digital art, curator of the exhibition RectoVRso. Artiste-chercheuse en art numérique, curatrice de l'exposition  RectoVRso.

Juan Leparc works on the representation of the human body . Juan Leparc travaille sur la représentation du coprs humain.

BC EMERGING ARTISTS AND RESEARCHERS

  In partnership with the Centre for Digital Media and Emily Carr University, a BC LAB space
will explore BC creation and research in the field of Immersive technologies through 3 displays.  

Robin Stethem, CEO and co-founder of MOR and  former student at Emily Carr University and Colin Northway, co-founder
present Museum of other realities (MOR), a virtual art museum.

Gabriel Reis and Keira Xu MDM Centre for Digital Media
present Divine Paper is a VR installation researching interactive ways of using technology to teach language.  

Adam Peregovits and Kavya Satyakumar MDM Centre for Digital Media
present Suspension Ion, an installation aims to suspend our perception of reality and swing through space in time.
