Maamawi: Together Through The Fire is an immersive XR dance project that fuses Anishinaabe cultural narratives with digital storytelling. It explores themes of resilience, connection, and transformation through movement and virtual landscapes.

The project invites audiences into a rich experience, merging tradition with innovation, where the power of dance and ancestral stories guides us on a journey of shared healing and unity.

Olivia C. Davies 
Olivia C. Davies (Anishinaabe) creates contemporary performance choreography for stage, film, and new media. She is the Managing Artistic Director of O.Dela Arts, and the Matriarchs Uprising Festival. Her work blends contemporary and traditional forms, exploring themes of identity, cultural heritage, and resilience, often bringing Indigenous stories to life in engaging, transformative performances. 

Athomas Goldberg
Athomas Goldberg is a multidisciplinary artist merging traditional and digital arts. His recent work focuses on real-time motion capture for live and virtual reality performances, blending technology and humanity to create immersive experiences.
