You, robot

With 18 webcomics, the ERCcOMICS project explores the potential of visual narrative to renew the way European scientific research is communicated and encourages the artists and the European Research Council researchers to meet.

You, Robot imagines what our society would look like with the arrival of social robots in our everyday life. Smart dolls, electronic health workers, artificial partners... How would their presence influence our interactions with other human beings and the way we build our identities? This story gets its inspiration from Social Robots by Emily Cross, a researcher at the University of Glasgow; it combines psychology, neuroscience and robotics in order to understand how the human brain processes and responds to socially interactive robots.
