MARC-ANTOINE MATHIEU lives in Angers. He explores forms, whether narrative or plastic. At the Beaux-Arts d'Angers first, where he practices sculpture, super 8 and perspective. At the Lucie Lom workshop then, where he experiments and invents with his colleagues of the graphic and scenographic staging. Parallel to his research as a visual artist, Marc-Antoine Mathieu has been digging for the past twenty years. years a particular groove in the comic strip. His black and white universe draws its poetry from Kafka and Borges. In 2010, the album God Himself receives the CALL Critics' Grand Prize. The following year, he invents with 3 Seconds the first comic book thought simultaneously for paper and digital. In 2014, he publishes S.E.N.S., a protean work that questions the time and space of a world without edge, with the absurd as a horizon. 3 rêveries (Delcourt) was published in 2018.
