ABOUT V-UNFRAMED
Alliance Française Vancouver invites you to explore and connect at V-Unframed, an immersive digital art exhibition showcasing international artworks.
Traditionally, art has been limited to a wooden frame and exhibited and lived within the construct of a gallery space. V-Unframed encourages you to experience the stories, environments, and magical realities that exist beyond the confines of the canvas.
Exhibition from November 24 to 26th at Beaumont Studios, Vancouver.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
- Understand how to design and curate a VR exhibition firsthand.
- Get an inside view of what happens behind the scene to execute a large scale exhibit.
- Get a chance to meet and network with leaders in the Digital Media and interactive space.
- Experience all the artworks for yourself.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT TO DO?
We have different requirements for our volunteers. Sign up for the role that is best suited to you.
- Installing lights & computers
- Helping our team install and set up the experiences.
- Guide the audience through the experiences (Help them with the headset, be sure that the experience is working well to sanitize the equipment after use, etc.).
- Answer general questions about the exhibition and the artworks
- Making sure headsets are charged and VR equipment ready
All volunteer work will be supervised.
All Volunteers will be allowed to experience the event free of charge.
(Lunch/snacks will be provided on the day of the event)
