The Vancouver Latin American Film Festival, the largest festival of Latin American cinema in Canada, is back in Vancouver, ready to rock the city for its 14th edition! The annual rendez-vous of Latin lovers and movie goers is about to start, with a fabulous selection of films from around the Spanish-speaking world.

More than 60 films will be showcased in this year's Festival, highlighting the important presence of Brazilian cinema, as they are the guest country of honour this year. The Festival is also pleased to announce a new section called ¡Activismo!, made up of films that discuss political and social movements in Latin America. The other sections include International Hits, New Directors, Retrospective: Anna Muylaert, Glauber Rocha: A Generation of Wild Dreams, Canada Looks South, Short Films and Indigenous Films From BC & Beyond.

End your Summer in Vancouver with ten days of the best of Latin American cinema and culture!
