While growing up in her native land of Iran, Farnaz sang at every available opportunity but longed to find her authentic artist's voice. Upon her move to Canada, she studied Operatic vocal training, Persian folk singing, then Flamenco cante through the instruction of Oscar Nieto, Vicente Griego, Naike Ponce and Lucas Ortega among others. Farnaz's love of music and performance art inspired her to create the collaborative project "Farnaz Ohadi Cuadro" in 2017, which combines Persian poetry with Flamenco music.
D’origine Iranienne, Farnaz chante depuis ses premiers pas. À son arrivée au Canada, elle a suivi des études en formation de voix d’opéra et en chant folklorique iranien, ainsi qu’en cante flamenco, sous la direction de grands artistes comme Oscar Nieto, Vicente Griego, Naike Ponce et Lucas Ortega. Poursuivant encore la recherche de sa propre voix d’artiste, elle créé le Farnaz Ohadi Cuadro en 2017, un groupe combinant la poésie perse et la musique flamenco.
