Viff 2017

September 28 - October 13
Dalida: Sunday, October 1, 3:45pm & Wednesday, October 4, 9:15pm

One of North America's largest film festivals, the Vancouver International Film Festival, will once again welcome some of the world's finest films to one of the most beautiful cities on the planet.

Partnership VIFF-AFV

We are proud to partner again with the VIFF for this new edition! This year, we support the great movie "Dalida".

Director: Lisa Azuelos
Actors: Sveva Alviti, Riccardo Scamarcio, Jean-Paul Rouve
Synopsis: Paris-based singer/actress Dalida is given the biopic she deserves in Lisa Azuelos' chronicle of the woman who galvanized the French music scene between the late 50s and the mid-80s. While selling 170 million records worldwide, she endured unbearable tragedy in her personal life and committed suicide in 1987. Newcomer Sveva Alviti in the lead “is not only a dead ringer for the dead star but also, just like the title character, a charismatic force of nature that’s impossible to ignore.”--Hollywood Reporter

You can join us at the Rendez-vous apéro (September 29) to win tickets for the Festival. Come to share a glass of wine and chat about the seventh art!
