former directorsThe Granville School, 1896

L'Alliance Française de Vancouver has a long and rich history in the city.
Settled in 1904, the association shows more than 110 years of education in French.

This has been possible thanks to generations of boards of directors, executive directors, course managers, administrative teams and French instructors.

We present in this section a list of Presidents of the Board of Directors and Executive Directors.

Photo caption: The Granville School, 1175 Haro Street, was a boarding and day school for girls established in 1896 and directed by the Demoiselles Kern. Motto: "Rien sans peine" (Nothing without hard work). Mrs Marie-Louise Kern was very active in the founding, May 5th, 1904, of L'Alliance Française de Vancouver.

In this section, we list a number of contributions. Please feel free to send us more information if one or various people of your family, friends, were involved in our institution. We shall be glad to add their name.
